Hotel bar Pia´s Lounge
With “Pia’s Lounge” the former “Entenbar” was replaced and now shines in new splendour. Dark woods, comfortable corner booths and colours in modern design make our hotel bar the cosiest meeting point.
From the classical Pils (lower fermentation full beer) via fizzy wines up to the fruity cocktail or coffee specialities, the bar menu leaves nothing to be desired. Our bar keeper Marco Steinbauer will be glad to recommend drinks to you.
Pia’s lounge was selected out of 170 name proposals. Apart from our personnel, guests were granted the opportunity to make a proposal. The name has, as customary for a castle, a historical background:
The last female dweller of the castle was the Baroness Sophia of Landsberg-Velen. She was called by the population “Count Pia” because of her folksy manner and her social commitment.
