Hospitality with tradition
The "Alte Försterei"
The "Alte Försterei" was built in the 18th century. It is situated north of the castle courtyard on the opposite side of the road. It has the longest hotel tradition of all the buildings of the present SportSchloss Velen. Long before the SportSchloss was opened in 1988, the "Alte Försterei" operated as the “Velener Schlosshotel”. The building steeped in tradition is still available to guests and offers a total of 16 bright rooms, four of them are single rooms. Above all, families are ideally housed in the spacious rooms.
A separate parking area is available for the guests of the "Alte Försterei". The house also has a lift (elevator). You have to walk just over two minutes to get to the main building.
