Riding and horses have long been an important part of life in Münsterland. Whereas horses were once used to do the work today they are used purely for pleasure.
In and around Borken there are over 30 riding clubs or privately owned stables where you can enjoy some riding, equestrian vaulting, learn to drive horses or improve your riding or driving techniques. Therapeutic riding is also available.
We have a partnership with the stables in Nordvelen. Just 4 km from the hotel the stables offer a range of opportunities to enjoy a bit of riding including lessons and hacks. It is also possible to place your horse at livery during your stay in Münsterland.
