Since 1988 the SportSchloss Velen has combined the historical tradition of old castle premises with modern sports offers in a class of its own. Several golf courts are available to our guests in the vicinity. In addition, there is also a Putting Green and a Driving Range directly at the hotel. Tennis players can serve a tennis ball in a hall or on the adjoining outdoor courses. If you also want to do some canoeing, practise archery, do Nordic walking, play table tennis or do gymnastics – we have everything prepared for you. You are more interested in football, beach volley ball, boules or dart? No problem! We are happy to assist you with additional information.
The SportSchloss Velen has available a fitness room inclusive a cross trainer, an exercise bike, a treadmill as well as numerous weight training devices. Monitoring by qualified and experienced physical education teachers is possible with many of our sports programs. We also have available licensed tennis coaches with B-license. For bike fans, there are 30 Holland bikes of the premium brand Gazelle, 12 mountain bikes from Univega and Carver as well as electric bikes on request available for borrowing.
We have put together in a separate brochure under the title “bests” the many exciting sporting events which the SportSchloss Velen offers, particularly those for groups and participants in seminars and events.
