"Tennis isn’t just a sport, it’s an art form", wrote Erich Kästner in his work entitled "Lob des Tennisspiels". This famous author saw a tennis match as more of a duel of intelligence, a duel where rather than trying to shoot where your opponent is standing you have to try and shoot the ball where your opponent isn’t standing.
Anyone wanting to court favour in this way needs one thing in particular – plenty of "court" space! At SportSchloss Velen that’s really not a problem with guests able to take advantage of the hotel’s six outdoor courts and three indoor courts.
